This first set of pics was Kyle's first lawn mowing of the year. (He just did the back strip that used to be the tree line.) We had a really warm spell, but now it's been kinda chilly... more typical of March. Seth is quite fascinated with the lawn mower, as well as most of the other "big" things in our garage such as the bikes! This will be a very fun summer with him now that he can actually "help" daddy do all the yard work, and we can go on bike rides, etc.! He thought it was pretty cool that he could help push the mower =)
Nana and Grandpa Ferguson were here this past weekend. We hadn't seen them since Christmas vacation. They got here Friday evening. All of us "Fergs" that live in the area had dinner together at Brent and Lori's before they got here and then we spent the rest of the night hanging out. Jenna reached her 20 week milestone this past week and had her ultrasound that day, so we got to see her baby pics =) They aren't finding out the gender... ahh, I don't know how ppl wait till the end to find out!
I had to work all day Saturday (didn't know they were coming when I signed up =/), but the rest of the gang went to Red Robin for dinner (a GREAT burger restaurant!) I heard Seth thoroughly enjoyed the grilled cheese and chocolate milk =) When I got home from work, we all ended up hanging out at our house until the kiddos had to hit the hay. Seth was awake almost the whole day (and really wasn't very fussy according to Kyle). He got to go to Home Depot with Kyle and his dad, and got to watch them work in the basement (installing the shower base), and spend time with Nana. He also was having a blast playing with Elli in the evening. It is so cute to see them playing and laughing together! On Sunday, we all went to our own churches (Larry and Linda went with Devin to his church), and then we had a yummy lunch together at B&L's again. Of course March Madness bball was going on in the background for most of the afternoon. It was nice to be together again (except we were missing Lance, Lana, and Liam =/)! Then today during Seth's lunch, I had fun taking some pics of him trying to use his fork to eat his pasta. I know it's kind of repetitive, but I thought it was funny to see him mostly clean when he started out and then look like a clown w/ a painted face at the end =)

This is a really fun stage with Seth (I say that about every stage... haha). He is saying a lot more words... it's like a switch turned on in his brain! Today he said "Elli" for the first time... more like "Ayee" and in the past few days, he's repeating a lot of words that I say to him, such as no, ok, up, people, poopy, pee pee, hey, baby, etc. He first said "thank you" to the nursery workers last week. I got him to say it once for me, but now he's quit for a while. =) He now says "pee pee" quite often when I change his diaper. He also goes up to his high chair and says "up." Today in the car he was saying no, no, no, no... haha. He also says "peeuu" in relation to his stinky diaper. He was trying to repeat back to me "Ruby" and "Iris" today. He can't quite get "Libby" or "Liam" yet. =) AND, most exciting of all is that he motions "please" all the time now!! (when he's in a good mood that is =)) I don't think he realizes that he's supposed to actually say the word instead of just do the sign language. He'll rub his hand across his chest even more "frantically" when he sees something he really wants in the store, etc.. and says "mmm" when he sees food on TV or in a book, or heating up in the oven, etc. It's so funny!
I hope I didn't bore everyone w/ all these details! ha
good night!
