the waiting game...

Still waiting for little miss or mister to arrive! I know I'm not at my due date quite yet, but it feels like I'm going so long this time! I was spoiled the 1st time around! (I'm actually sick right now, so I guess it's good I don't have a newborn just yet. ) Here I am popping out to wazoo at 38 wks + 2 days:

This was a funny moment... Seth apparently threw his dirty diaper bag up in the air and it landed on the fan. I was upstairs and I heard him dragging the big wooden kitchen chair across the floor, and when I came down, I saw that he was trying to retrieve his dirty diaper... He was saying "I can't reach it." haha

Last week we went to the Boonshoft Museum (a fun children's museum in Dayton) with my friend Dana and her son Carson. This was in the "dance room" where they could see their image projected on the screen.

This was the "recycling truck" (probably Seth's favorite part of the museum!)

Nana and Grandpa came to visit this past weekend and here they are graciously watching a very corny movie called "Old MacDonald's Farm." It's one of Seth's favorite movies right now (on Netflix) and since his grandpa is a farmer, Kyle thought he should watch it w/ Seth. =) Some other things we did w/ them: went to Carrabba's for dinner, Cedarville basketball game on Saturday, Jenna/Justin's apt for dessert and hung out a lot on Sunday afternoon before they had to leave.

He usually looks really serious in pictures, or makes a really cheesy smile, so I finally got a cute smile out of him =)

very short video of Seth talking to the baby: (password is "baby")

Our yummy Valentines Day dessert: brownies w/ p-nut butter frosting and sprinkles and then lots of ice cream!

Happy belated Valentines day and much love to you all!

  4. Oh my word I can't get over how darling you look!!! & YES you did pop out alot, but it's totally normal to do that, especially at the end:-) It makes me want to rub that belly & give lil miss or mister a pep talk about making an early entrance! Hilarious about Seth tryin to fetch his dirty diaper on the fan. Iris does stuff like that all the time too...in fact she moves chairs wherever to get whatever she can get her hands on-annoying I must say haha. The children's museum looked like awesome fun for the kids:-) Praying for you...my phone died last night and Kell and I are down to one charger so he used it during the night, meaning my phone was left off til this morning...and I had a slight inkling the only time I left my phone off, would be when you had your baby and I would miss the news. So sure enough when I plugged it in this morning, I had 2 texts beeping and I thought "Oh I bet that's Meg's news"...but nope it wasn't lol...soon enough, right?!
