Funny boy, Family, and Festivities

Hello folks!  I hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving! We had a great time w/ Kyle's family down near Cincinnati, and ate a lot of delicious food! Lori announced her pregnancy to the rest of the family down there, so that was fun to hear ppl's reactions. We are so excited for them!  Our 5th anniversary was the next day, and it was a gorgeous day just like our wedding day. We played soccer outside (more so just kicked the ball around and chased after it) and took a walk w/ Seth to see some horses and cows. We also happened to go furniture shopping since it was Black Friday (no, we didn't go at 4 am... some of the other crazy relatives did however ;)) and we ordered some couches and a rocking chair for our family room,  so that was our big anniversary gift I suppose. Now we will have some furniture in the front room, instead of an empty room =) We have officially been in our house 2 years now!

Seth loves to try on ppl's shoes, so this particular day I was packing for PA and Seth was exploring my closet... He looked so hilarious, especially how he would walk w/ one heel on... and it struck me so funny at the time that I was laughing so hard I was crying, and he said "mommy sad."  (don't know why the picture doesn't rotate on here... it's rotated on my computer but when I upload it to here, it goes back to sideways..)

I drove to PA w/ Seth about 3 weeks ago b/c Kyle was in KY for a conference. We had a great time of course! Here's Liisa reading to the kids... cracks me up how even Seija looks so interested in it =)  

Seth and Iris had so much fun together in PA (most of the time.. haha)  I didn't expect to be able to see Stef and her kids, but it worked out that she could come down w/ Helen! 

Eating ice cream cones (empty or not) was a favorite past time for them.

Poor Liberty had a double ear infection (we didn't know that yet), but it didn't stop her from enjoying a cone too!  

so glad I got to meet baby Eden! What a doll she is! 

giving Graham a haircut and the kiddos thought it was quite intriguing. (Or maybe they couldn't believe that Graham was letting me touch his hair!) 

Out of the blue, Seth gave Ruby a big hug, and then went in for the kill... quite hilarious! The password is "hug."

My mom gave me this coat in case I need to wear it as a maternity coat... and it looks almost as funny on me as it does on Seth. =)

We were about to separate the bunk beds, so we could put one of them in Seth's room, but before hand, Kyle wanted to have some fun w/ the mattress. Password is "nosedive."

At Quaker Steak and Lube... such a man place. I can't say I like their food much, but it tends to be the place a bunch of us friends get together the most often. Tuesday nights is all "you can eat wings," so the guys love it! Seth thinks it's amazing that there are race cars hanging from the ceiling, and motorcycles everywhere...  

in Toys R Us... not a good place to bring a 2 yr old! It was hard to pull him away from stuff or to explain why he wasn't allowed to have every ball he saw. 

27 weeks. This pregnancy is going fast!  

Decorating the Christmas tree... the same little fake one we bought as newlyweds, but it works! and since we're going to be gone a lot around Christmas time anyway, I don't really see the point in getting a real one that requires watering =) 

Seth loves the tree and the lights! (I know every kid does =)) 

and there she is! (now where am I going to stand for prego pictures?? hehe) 

We had our first light coating of snow last night, but it was all melted by the time I got up this morning. Thankful to see the sun today after several rainy days!
