Some more of April

I'm a little behind in my blogging... but these are some pics of daddy and Seth in the basement. You can see in the background that Kyle had been working on putting in the shower insert and was finishing up the final walls of the bathroom. Phase one of finishing the basement is complete. I'm sure it'll be a while before phase 2 comes =)

Here are Seth and Elli having fun with the tunnel while she was over here. It is really fun to watch them together now that they can "play" together and laugh at each other, etc. The latest thing is that Seth will do a big "fake" laugh to try to get Elli to laugh, and then she'll start laughing and then he'll start "really" laughing.... haha  (sounds like the laughing game we played in PA in March, which turned out to be quite moronic!)

April is a big month for birthdays in Kyle's family. Brent and Lance share a birthday on April 14th; Elli's is April 25th; Kyle's is April 30th, and Jenna's is the next day on May 1st. (Devin broke the trend, but it's kinda cool that he shares the same b-day as Devin Heagy -- Aug 6th. (random fact of the day =)) (maybe Jenna will have her baby on Aug 6th as well!)  All that to explain the next picture... we celebrated all the April/May birthdays together at Jenna and Justin's place on Jenna's b-day. I made a homemade chocolate cake w/ p-nut butter icing. Jenna had a lovely cookout for us. It was a great time! (too bad Lance had to miss out on this one =/).  Elli had a big "ballerina" party on the weekend before her birthday. Her cake was much cuter than this one ;)

Later that week, I went to PA for Heather's baby shower. It was a grand time as usual! I will post the pics to FB b/c there are too many to do here...

I hope you all have enjoyed some relief from the rain. We've had some really warm days and some sun, but lots of rain too.  It's storming again as I write this. (which, I LOVE storms, just not when they cause damage of course =)) We had a severe storm last evening, and then headed to the basement at 1:00 am again during another storm. Hearing of all these tornadoes in the south is so sad. We had one tornado about 15 minutes from here last night but I don't think it did much damage thankfully.
