I joined the blog world

Hi everyone. Happy belated Valentines day! I finally opened up a blog but can't figure out how to upload the videos I want... (it lets me upload certain ones but not others, so maybe it can only take a certain amount of megabytes??) I opened this mainly so I can upload videos (or pics) that I don't necessarily want to post on FB. So anyway, for my first official post, I'll let you see the beautiful roses that our friends Scott and Andrea sent to us a little while ago (unrelated to Valentines day). I was so surprised to get 2 dozen roses in the mail! They came on the Friday night that Heather and Evan also came to visit us and stay for the weekend (Super Bowl weekend), so that made for an extra special start to the weekend. 

 

And here is a pic of Seth getting a haircut from daddy. It was our first time using clippers on him (Stef had done it once before), but I've been too scared to try it myself. He was looking a little disheveled with his hair sticking straight up in the back, so we thought it was time to give it a try. We had to let him stuff his face with "puffs" and mesmerize him with cool tools such as the tape measure to keep him still =)

Seth loves listening to all the loud noises Kyle's tools make (when he's working on cutting pipe for his rocket launchers, or cutting wood, or using the air compressor or the nail gun, etc..), but he especially loves going down in the basement with daddy and looking at all his tools and "gadgets." Sometimes he'll cry if Kyle goes down in the basement and leaves Seth upstairs. Here he is sporting the "ear protectors" and looking like a major chub! ha

and finally, a funny thing that Seth is saying lately is a "word" that sounds like "fock." I have no idea what he thinks he's saying. I don't think it's "truck," b/c usually he says "CUCK!"  but I'm sure one of these days he'll yell it out in the grocery store or in the nursery... haha
